Home for our pets can be so many things from basking in the sunlight to lazing on the couch, to play time in the yard and hikes in the mountains.

Home is playing in the sprinklers and rolling in fresh catnip, or settling in on a good bone.

Our animals can be found at our shelter located in Stanardsville, VA (click here for a map) and are also at PetSmart in Alexandria's Potomac Yards each weekend (Sat 10a-8p & Sun 10a-4p).

All animals adopted from the Madison-Greene Humane Society are spayed or neutered prior to being made available for adoption. This is an important part of how we try to reduce companion pet overpopulation.
